Wild-type Allele - An allele that predominates over another allele i.e. it is the allele which will predominate.

Wobble-position -This refers to the 3rd position of a codon. This position can vary in some codons encoding the same amino acid . It explains why many mRNA codon words translate to a single amino acid, why there are appreciably fewer tRNA's than mRNA codon types and why the redundant nature of the genetic code translates into a precise set of 20 amino acids .i.e There are 61 codons but only 20 amino acids.
